Year-in-Review Part III : Glimpses of Thailand

I spent a lot of time in Thailand this year. Rented a house on Koh Samui for a few months. My baby daughter’s first dip in the ocean was in the Gulf of Thailand. We rented a car and visited different beaches. Checked out a few temples. We ate at some very good restaurants. And a few bad ones. We walked around the Sunday street markets. Soaked in some rays. I shot some weddings on the island, and also in Bangkok and Phuket. We witnessed flooding, and we suffered heatwaves. We stayed in a swanky villa and played choo-choo bugs with my 2 year old son. We lounged by the pool. We lived well.

We thought, for at least a little while, that maybe we’d end up living in Thailand. But for now it remains a place we visit often, for work or for pleasure, to meet our friends in Bangkok or to photograph weddings in Phuket.

It’s always fun to go to Thailand.
