Phuket wedding featured in Hong Kong's South China Morning Post
Like a lot of photographers, I work a balancing act between different kinds of photography – weddings, commercial and editorial. These different disciplines are usually kept as very separate entities of my overall photography business, but today that changed.
Last weekend I shot Melina and Boat’s beautiful wedding in Phuket, at the amazing Sri Panwa resort. Boat had been on a strict 7-week bootcamp to get in shape for his wedding day, and his journey was documented for Hong Kong’s premiere English language daily, The South China Morning Post. The paper needed an image from the wedding, to show the very fit and very happy Boat finally enjoying his big day. I know Boat was ecstatic to marry Melina, but I think at least a little bit of that huge smile is in anticipating his first steak and cheese sandwich in two months.
