This year I was lucky to shoot two weddings at Trisara – one of the top rated luxury resorts in Phuket, Thailand. It’s really, really nice. Really. But I always say people make the party, and as great as the venue was, Vicki, Alex, their family and friends made the wedding day special – even when the rains came and poured down. What to do when it rains? Dance, sing, drink, play guitar, yell, scream, shake and move. I love photographing a raucous dancefloor, and they didn’t disappoint.
I love the subtle light in this portrait. It could have been so easy to blow this image out. And of course, the reflection is brilliant.
